We hope to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at 11am, on 21st August in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moycullen. Dean Michael will be the celebrant for the occasion. 19.06.20

Webex
Beidh páistí na scoile ag bualadh lena múinteoirí ar líne an tseachtain seo le Webex. Leanfaidh Múinteoir Méadhbh lena ranganna feadóige ar líne freisin le Ranganna 1-6.
The pupils of Scoil Bhaile Nua will be meeting their teachers online this week through Webex. Múinteoir Méadhbh will also be continuing with Tin whistle lessons online for First to Sixth classes.

Seesaw
This week, we are beginning the roll out of Seesaw at home. The teachers will be able to support the children at home, providing feedback, sound clips, videos and other links. 25.05.20

Coiste Glas – Green School Committee
Congratulations to Múinteoir Peigí and the Green School Committee for all their work towards achieving our Green Flag for the theme of Transport. We got it. Well done!
An Chéad Chomaoineach
Fr. Michael asked me to let the First Communion children know that he is thinking of you in his prayers this week. I know you were all looking forward to this special day but we hope to reschedule it in the Autumn.

Seachtain 3 – Week 3
Múinteoir Éilís Ní Chonghaile from Scoil Bhaile Nua will be reading the story ‘Thugas an Ghealach ag siúl’ on Cúla 4 ar Scoil this week.

Cúla 4 ar Scoil
A special program called Cula4 ar Scoil will be broadcast every morning, Monday to Friday on TG4. This is an educational program aimed at primary school children from Junior Infants to Sixth class. Our own Múinteoir Ethel de Búrca from Scoil Bhaile Nua is part of the production team. You can see it on the television each morning at 10 o'clock. It can also be viewed on the Player or on the YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel

Cúntóir Riachtanais Speisialta nua - Newly appointed Special Needs Assistant
Welcome Bernadette Uí Thuathail who will be working with our staff as a Special Needs Assistant when the school reopens.

Seachtain na Gaeilge - Irish Language Week
We had begun our Irish Language Week activities when we heard the news of our school closure. All classes from Junior Infants to Sixth took part in our music session both singing and playing musical instruments and Third to Sixth classes took part in a table quiz.

Seachtain an Chairdis - Friendship Week
During friendship week we talk about the importance of friends and what we need to do to ensure we are kind and respectful towards each other. Older classes are paired with younger classes to teach them schoolyard games.
